IYF SUMMER 2025 USA INTERN PROGRAM: FUNDED INTERNSHIPS FOR STUDENTS DEVOTED TO YOUTH EMPOWERMENT

The International Youth Foundation (IYF) is offering a Summer 2025 training program designed to provide opportunities for students from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds. Through this remote opportunity, trainees will gain firsthand experience working within a global non-profit organization dedicated to developing their agency, economic prospects, and inclusive systems globally.

THE INTERNATIONAL YOUTH FOUNDATION (IYF)

Established in 1990, the International Youth Foundation is a global non-profit organization that has operated in over 100 countries and directly supported more than 8 million young individuals through community-based organizations. The institution sponsors young individuals via three major pillars:

  1. Opening youth agency
  2. Navigating economic prospect
  3. Making systems more inclusive

The International Youth Foundation promotes a job setting dedicated to equity, inclusion, and access, primarily for students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Minority-Serving Institutions (MSIs), and first-generation college students.

The International Youth Foundation Summer 2025 Intern program is a six-week, completely remote experience. Trainees will receive structured mentorship, occupational growth, and the opportunity to work on real-world projects across various units within the institution.

  • Format: Remote
  • Period: Six weeks
  • Reward: $17.50 hourly
  • Qualification: Available to students seeking associate’s, bachelor’s, or master’s programs.

TRACKS OF THE INTERNSHIP

International Youth Foundation is presently hiring for four training tracks. Every trainee will add beneficially to one of the following fields:

  • Innovation Internship: Conduct a market study to investigate new income development techniques for the International Youth Foundation’s flagship life experiences scheme, Passport to Success.
  • Skill growth internship: Assist the audit and improvement of internal program instruments and systems to enhance internship and affect delivery.
  • Marketing and Communications Internship: Assist in drafting the International Youth Foundation’s messaging and outreach techniques through content generation, branding, and campaign assistance.
  • Digital development internship: Assist in developing the International Youth Foundation’s digital presence and enhancing forums utilized to provide programs and connect with global youth.

WHO SHOULD MAKE AN APPLICATION

International Youth Foundation motivates requests from students who:

  • Are registered in an associate’s, bachelor’s, or master’s course program.
  • Have an interest in youth growth, non-profit work, or foreign growth.
  • Value-inclusive, community-driven modification
  • Desire to obtain experience in a mission-driven global institution.

Preference is provided to candidates from:

  • First-generation college students
  • Historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs)
  • Minority serving institutions (MSIs)
